Earlier today, His Excellency Prince Senator Prince Bassey Otu the Executive Governor of CRS At the 6th meeting of the steering committee of the Presidential Food Systems Coordinating Unit (PFSCU).
The meeting which was anchored by our able Vice President, Excellency Kashim Shettima who directed expedited action on the disbursement of the Federal Government’s ₦250 billion credit support for small holder farmers at a single-digit interest rate.
Vice President advised PFSCU to come up with an implementation roadmap for the disbursement of the funds in order to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure that the target beneficiaries of the initiative were reached.
On behalf of the PFSCU, they thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for granting the unit the political backing to act boldly on priority reforms, notably the fertilizer raw material liberalisation and the Presidential Seed Fund.
